Hey guys, welcome to happy hour here at Blue Mountain Sports. I'm Logan. Today I'm going to be talking about the s are 88 or the Stormrider series which Stockli. This is a remarkable ski. The Stormrider series has three different style skis and 88, a 95 and a 102. It's a full remodel of this particular series for the 2122 season. And some of the tech talk with the ski is pretty remarkable in terms of how it how it skis on the snow, but some of the what it's made out of is a balsa and fuma woodcore, which is what they call light core. balsa obviously, is a very lightweight, but stable wood and fuma just brings in that backbone has a modified tip rocker in the tip to allow for a little bit easier initiation in and out of turns. Same thing on the tail a little bit less than the 88 because this is a little bit more front side all mountain ski but incredibly powerful. They use this title tech Pro, which is two sheets of metal and the one unique aspect of what what Stockli does is they actually utilize the the titanal as their top sheet. You won't see this anywhere else in the in the ski market, and it's absolutely remarkable. They also slightly tailor the tip in the tail for easier flotation a little bit easier compression for the tip to allow for a little bit easier initiation. They use a full poly sidewall, just on the side to allow for a little bit better, more powerful turns. So when you really put this thing on edge, it just lays over trenches is unbelievably fun. Definitely, that more intermediate to expert skier. If you buy the ski, you are a better skier for it.
